6 Tools I Use Weekly for Glowing, Sculpted Skin

(and Why You Don’t Need Botox)

One of the questions I get asked most often is: “What do you use on your face?” The truth is, my skin didn’t always look this radiant, sculpted, and calm. What changed everything wasn’t Botox or expensive treatments—it was consistency with the right tools, products, and techniques rooted in face yoga and holistic skincare.

Today, I’m sharing my weekly toolbox that supports my natural glow from the inside out. Not everything is used daily, and not everything is used all together. But when used with intention, these tools help me stay consistent, care for my skin, and connect with myself on a deeper level. This isn’t just a skincare routine. It’s a ritual of intentional beauty.

1. Dry Face Brush

This gentle brush helps stimulate lymphatic flow, lightly exfoliates the skin, and wakes up your face in the morning.

When I use it: In the morning, 1–2x a week, always on clean, dry skin.

How I use it: I use light, upward and outward strokes starting at the neck and moving toward the forehead.

2. Gua Sha

This is my go-to for sculpting and releasing facial tension. It encourages circulation, lifts puffiness, and helps define the jaw and cheekbones.

When I use it: 2–3x a week, in the evening.

How I use it: After cleansing, I apply a generous amount of facial oil and gently glide the gua sha tool in upward strokes—working on my jawline, cheeks, brow area, and neck.

📎 I pair it with this nourishing facial oil – my current fave is the Vitamin C Rose Oil by Biossance.

3. Facial Cupping

If you’ve never tried facial cupping, it’s time. These small silicone cups help boost circulation, reduce puffiness, and give your skin that healthy glow.

When I use it: 1–2x a week, in the evening.

How I use it: I use the cups with the same facial oil I use for gua sha, I do short glides—never leaving the cup in one place—and always move outward and upward to support lymph flow.

4. Face Icing

Whether I’m dunking my face in an ice bowl or using an ice mold, this step is my secret weapon. Ice instantly depuffs, soothes inflammation, boosts circulation, and tightens pores. It’s a natural pick-me-up for tired, dull skin.

When I use it: 2–4x a week, in the morning.

How I use it: I fill a bowl with water and ice and dunk my face for 10–15 seconds and repeat 5-8 times. On other days, I use an ice mold and glide it across my face after cleansing.

Bonus Tip: Icing is amazing both before and after skincare.

  • Use before skincare to tone, wake up your skin, and reduce inflammation.
  • Use after skincare (especially before makeup) to lock everything in, close pores, and create a natural glow.

5. LED Light Therapy Mask

This is the most high-tech item in my toolkit. My LED mask is a key player in keeping my skin calm, clear, and radiant. Red light supports collagen production, while blue light helps reduce breakouts.

When I use it: 3–4x a week for 10-20 minutes, on clean, dry skin.

How I use it: I use my LED mask right after cleansing and before applying any skincare products. This ensures optimal light penetration and results.

6. Face Yoga

Of course, my favorite practice, the foundation of it all! Face yoga strengthens and tones the facial muscles, improves circulation, and enhances your natural radiance—while also reducing tension that causes fine lines.

When I use it: 4–5x a week, morning or evening, depending on my schedule. Some days it's 10 minutes, other days a full session.

How I use it: I follow my own routines targeting specific areas like the forehead, cheeks, eyes, and jaw. I also include breathwork, acupressure, and self-massage.

Why I love it: Face yoga reconnects me to my facial muscles, teaches me to soften tension, and promotes a sculpted, relaxed look.
