When it comes to reducing forehead lines, most people focus only on the skin—but did you know that tension in your neck and shoulders directly affects your forehead? Tightness in the neck can cause unconscious forehead lifting, leading to deeper lines over time.

By releasing neck tension and practicing face yoga, you can create a smoother, more relaxed forehead naturally. Try these simple neck stretches and forehead techniques to relieve tension and prevent wrinkles.

Step 1: Release Neck Tension

Before working on the forehead, it's important to loosen up the neck and shoulders. These two stretches will help you release stored tension that can contribute to forehead wrinkles.

1. Chin-to-Chest Stretch

Releases tension in the neck and upper back

How to do it:

  • Sit or stand tall.
  • Interlace your fingers and place them at the base of your skull.
  • Gently tuck your chin to your chest, allowing the weight of your hands to deepen the stretch.

2. Neck Side Stretch

How to do it:

  • Sit or stand with your shoulders relaxed.

  • Place your index fingers above your eyebrows and thumbs on your cheekbones.

How to do it:

  • Place your index fingers in a hook shape and rest them at the center of your eyebrows.
  • Glide them outward, following the shape of your brows.
  • Repeat 30-60 seconds.

4. Forehead Glide

How to do it:

  • Place your index fingers on the procerus muscle (between the brows).
  • Lightly glide them upward toward your hairline—no pressure, just movement.
  • Repeat 30-60 seconds.
